Itap York 108 Brass Foot Valve with Stainless Steel Strainer — 3/8″ Female Thread, DN10, PN12

The Itap York 108 is a compact, heavy-duty foot valve designed to maintain pump prime by preventing backflow in suction lines. The brass body houses a spring-loaded NBR check mechanism that seals reliably when the pump stops, while the integrated stainless steel 304 mesh strainer at the inlet keeps debris out of the line. Manufactured in Italy, the York 108 is widely specified for pool circulation systems, irrigation pump stations, and greenhouse water-supply networks where reliable priming and corrosion resistance are essential.

At just 69.5 mm total length and with a 35 mm hex across the body flats, the valve fits into tight pump sumps and suction pits. The female BSP thread on both connection faces allows direct threaded installation without additional adapters. The operating temperature range of -20 °C to +100 °C and a maximum working pressure of 12 bar (PN12) make it suitable for cold-water wells, heated-pool plant rooms, and pressurised irrigation headers alike.

Compatibilitate

The York 108 3/8″ DN10 foot valve is compatible with standard BSP female-threaded pump suction ports and pipe fittings of the same nominal size. It is suitable for clean water, pool water, and light irrigation applications within the stated pressure and temperature limits. The NBR seal is compatible with water and many common water-treatment chemicals; it is not recommended for use with hydrocarbons or aggressive solvents. Ensure suction pipework is rated to at least PN12 before installation.

Supapă de fund Itap din alamă, filet interior de 3/8", 12 bar, DN10, oțel inoxidabil 304, tip York 108 — principală
  • Compact 69.5 mm body fits confined pump sumps without modification
  • Integrated SS 304 strainer protects pump and line from debris in a single fitting
  • PN12 / 12 bar rating provides a safe margin for most pool and irrigation pump duties
  • Stainless steel 302 spring and SS 304 strainer resist corrosion in wet, submerged conditions
  • Standard 3/8" BSP female thread allows direct connection to off-the-shelf fittings and pump ports
  • One-way (non-return) function only — cannot be used as an isolating valve
  • NBR seal limits chemical compatibility; unsuitable for hydrocarbons or highly aggressive media
  • Small DN10 bore (6.6 mm orifice) restricts flow rate; not suitable for high-volume suction lines
