Hanna Instruments Pool Line pocket-size pH tester, 0.1 pH resolution (HI981014)

The HI981014 is a pocket-size digital pH tester from the Hanna Instruments Pool Line range, designed for quick pH checks on swimming pool and spa water. It reads pH to a resolution of 0.1 pH and is used as a fast spot-check instrument alongside dosing and filtration equipment. The tester belongs to the same Pool Line family as Hanna’s other pool water-quality testers and reagents.

Pentru ce este potrivit

This is a standalone handheld instrument rather than a spare part, so it does not mount into a controller or panel. It is intended for pool, spa and wellness water where pH must be kept within the range suitable for chlorine or bromine disinfection. It complements Hanna Pool Line photometers, checkers and dosing systems by giving an immediate pH reading at the poolside.

Mod de utilizare

Take a sample from the pool or dip the electrode section directly into the water, allow the reading to stabilise, then rinse the tip with clean water after each measurement. Store the electrode moist as instructed to keep the sensing glass hydrated. Calibrate periodically against pH buffer solutions to maintain reading accuracy.

Durata de viață

pH electrodes are consumable and lose responsiveness over time, especially with heavy use in chlorinated water. Expect a working life measured in months to a couple of years depending on frequency of use and storage conditions. Replace the tester when readings drift, stabilise slowly, or can no longer be brought into calibration.

Note privind comanda

The tester is supplied individually and not as part of a test kit. Calibration buffer solutions, electrode storage solution and cleaning solution are ordered separately. If measurements to 0.01 pH are required, choose a higher-resolution meter from the Hanna range instead.
