Hanna Instruments pH/ORP electrode for HI98194, HI98195 and HI98196 meters (HI7698194-1)

The HI7698194-1 is a combined pH/ORP electrode designed for Hanna Instruments portable multiparameter meters in the HI98194, HI98195 and HI98196 series. It replaces the pH/ORP sensing element of the multi-sensor probe used for spot-checking pool and process water. As a wear part, it is supplied as a single electrode rather than a complete probe assembly.

Meter compatibility

This electrode is intended for the Hanna Instruments HI98194, HI98195 and HI98196 portable multiparameter meters. It fits the corresponding multi-sensor probe body used with those instruments. It is not interchangeable with benchtop or panel-mounted Hanna controllers that use standard BNC electrodes.

Montarea electrodului

The electrode screws into the dedicated pH/ORP port of the multi-sensor probe after the old unit has been unscrewed and the port cleaned and dried. Check that the O-ring seal is intact and correctly seated before tightening, as water ingress will damage the probe connector. Recalibrate the meter with fresh pH buffers and an ORP standard once the new electrode is installed.

Durata de viață

pH/ORP electrodes are consumables and gradually lose response speed and slope through normal use. Typical working life in commercial pool water is around one to two years, depending on exposure to chlorine, temperature swings and storage conditions. Replace the electrode when calibration fails, readings drift or response becomes noticeably sluggish. Always store the sensing tip wet in storage solution, never dry.

Sold individually as a replacement electrode, not as a complete probe or kit. Calibration buffers, storage solution and probe cable are ordered separately. Confirm your meter model number before ordering, as other Hanna portable series use different electrode references.
