The HI12963 is a replacement pH electrode from Hanna Instruments fitted with a Quick DIN connector for fast, tool-free connection to the meter. It is intended for use with the HI98190 and HI991001 portable pH meters used in commercial pool and water-treatment monitoring. As a consumable sensor, it restores accurate pH readings once the original electrode has aged or been damaged.

This electrode is supplied for the Hanna Instruments HI98190 and HI991001 pH measuring instruments. The Quick DIN connection is a keyed, screw-locking connector, so the probe only mates with meters using that same connector standard. Check the connector on your existing probe before ordering if your meter has been retrofitted or replaced.

Conectarea sondei

Align the Quick DIN plug with the socket on the meter, push it home and tighten the collar by hand until it seats; no tools or soldering are required. Remove the storage cap before use and rinse the glass bulb with clean water. Calibrate the meter with fresh pH buffer solutions immediately after fitting a new electrode.

Durata de viață

pH glass electrodes are wear parts and age even when stored correctly, with typical working life measured in months rather than years depending on sample chemistry and duty cycle. Replace the probe when calibration slope drifts out of range, response becomes sluggish, or readings will not stabilise after cleaning. Always store the bulb in Hanna storage solution, never in demineralised water, to slow degradation.

Note privind comanda

Sold individually as a single electrode; calibration buffers, storage solution and cleaning solutions are ordered separately. The meter itself is not included. Order a spare in advance if the instrument is used for routine compliance testing, as a failed electrode takes the meter out of service.
