With a maximum flow rate of 12 m³/h through its wide slotted mouth and an overall body height of 806.6 mm, the Weltico A800 Design is a large-format, high-water-level skimmer built for liner and concrete pools that demand both performance and a contemporary finish. Its 1½” female × 2″ female thread connections cover the two most common plumbing standards on a single unit, and the light grey ABS body integrates cleanly with modern pool surrounds. The design allows the waterline to sit as close as approximately 5–8 cm below the coping, creating a near-mirror-pool effect that a conventional skimmer cannot achieve.
High-water-level design & pool compatibility
The A800 belongs to Weltico’s newest generation of high-water-level skimmers: its low-profile, wide-slit throat keeps the pool surface exceptionally close to deck level, delivering an elegant mirror-pool aesthetic. Thanks to its UV-treated ABS construction and comprehensive sealing provision, the unit is equally at home in liner and concrete pools, making it a single-SKU solution for two of the most common pool build types across Europe.
Connections & side-outlet provisions
The body carries both a 1½” internal (female) thread and a 2″ external connection, matching the dual-standard sizing noted in the product specification. A dedicated side outlet allows a water-level regulator to be connected — particularly advisable with this narrow-slit design to protect the circulation pump during periods of high evaporation or when the pool is left unattended. The unit is supplied in two parts with adhesive for assembly, keeping installation straightforward for a qualified installer.
Material durability & colour range
The body is moulded in anti-UV ABS with stainless steel hardware inserts, resisting chemical attack, UV degradation, and the mechanical stresses of seasonal temperature cycling. This variant is finished in light grey, one of four available colours in the A800 Design range, allowing specifiers to co-ordinate the skimmer with coping, liner, or tile choices. The large-capacity debris basket reduces the frequency of routine servicing once the unit is in operation.
