Pool Blaster Volt FX-2 – Battery-Powered Cordless Pool & Spa Vacuum

Running on five standard D-cell batteries, the Volt FX-2 delivers up to 2.5 hours of continuous cleaning across a coverage rate of approximately 845 sq. ft. per hour – all without any connection to the pool’s filtration system. Its 8.5-inch vacuum head is 30% larger than that of the Aqua Broom model it succeeds, while the debris chamber offers three times the capturing capacity. At under 1.1 kg, it is genuinely portable and equally at home in an above-ground pool, an in-ground pool, or a spa.

Cleaning coverage & debris capture

The high-flow vacuum motor picks up dirt, leaves, sand, silt, and even algae in a single pass. An included reusable filter bag handles larger debris, while optional microfilter bags (sold separately) trap fine particles down to sand and silt level – making the cleaner suitable for post-backwash tidy-ups or targeted spot-cleaning of steps and corners. The pivoting vacuum head allows the unit to navigate around obstacles without lifting it out of the water.

Cordless operation & pole compatibility

No priming, no hose connections, no trailing cable – the twist on/off switch activates the motor instantly, much like a torch. The unit attaches via a quick-release connector to any standard telescopic pole (not included), letting the operator stand at pool-side and reach the entire floor and walls. It can also be used by hand for spa benches, stairs, and shallow areas, with a built-in easy-grip handle providing firm control in all orientations.

Storage & day-to-day practicality

A built-in hanging storage notch means the unit dries efficiently between sessions and takes up minimal space on a pool equipment hook. The body is designed to resist dents, dings, and UV fading – important for kit stored outdoors in European summer conditions. Because it operates entirely independently of the pump and filter circuit, it can be used at any time, including during or immediately after chemical dosing sessions.
