This is the genuine OEM impeller for the Pentair UltraFlow Plus pump at the 1.10 kW (1.5 CV) power rating. The impeller is the rotating hydraulic component at the heart of the pump — it draws water through the suction port and accelerates it towards the filter circuit. Without a serviceable impeller, the pump cannot generate the flow your pool circulation system requires.

The impeller spins at motor speed to convert rotational energy into hydraulic flow. It sits directly on the motor shaft between the seal plate and the volute, and its blade geometry is matched precisely to the 1.10 kW motor’s torque output. A worn or cracked impeller reduces flow rate, raises energy consumption, and forces the motor to work harder — accelerating wear on the shaft seal and bearings.

R39005300 fits the UltraFlow Plus 1.10 kW in both single-phase (monophasé) and three-phase (triphasé) configurations. It does not cross-fit the 0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 1.50 kW, or 2.20 kW variants — each power rating has its own impeller with a different blade diameter and pitch. Signs it needs replacing

Replace this impeller if you observe a sustained drop in flow rate without blockage in the basket or pipework, audible rattling or grinding from the pump head, or visible cracking and erosion on the blades when you open the wet end. Calcium scaling on the blade edges is also a reliable indicator that the impeller has been running partially cavitated and its efficiency is compromised.

How to install it

Isolate power and close the suction and return valves before starting. Remove the stainless-steel band clamp, pull the motor away from the volute, and unscrew the impeller from the shaft — it is left-hand threaded, so turn clockwise to loosen. Seat the new impeller firmly by hand, reassemble the wet end, and confirm shaft seal seating before refilling. The full procedure takes roughly 20–30 minutes and requires only basic hand tools.
