With a peak heating capacity of 17.0 kW at A27/W27 and a COP reaching 13 under those conditions, the Norsup Vertical SG P 17V/32 is engineered for pools of 45–80 m³ on a single-phase 230 V supply — making it an excellent choice where three-phase power is unavailable. Full inverter technology continuously modulates compressor output between 3.4 kW and 17.0 kW, matching heat demand to ambient conditions rather than cycling on and off. The result is lower running costs, reduced wear, and quieter operation across the entire swimming season.

COP & seasonal range

The 17V/32 is an all-season unit rated to operate down to −15 °C ambient air temperature, so it can extend the swimming season well into spring and autumn. At a more typical 15 °C air / 25 °C water condition the COP ranges from 5 to 6.8, meaning every kilowatt of electricity drawn from the grid delivers up to 6.8 kW of heat to the pool water. Built-in automatic defrost and selectable Power, Smart, and Silent operating modes let installers and owners balance performance against noise to suit the installation site.

Refrigerant & compressor

R32 refrigerant — which carries a global warming potential approximately three times lower than the older R410A — is paired with a Mitsubishi rotary compressor for long-term reliability. The titanium twisted heat exchanger resists corrosion from both salt and chlorine, protecting the circuit whether the pool is traditionally treated or runs a salt-chlorination system. A soft-start function eliminates voltage spikes on switch-on, protecting both the unit and the electrical installation.

Controller & connectivity

A full-colour touchscreen provides local control, while the built-in Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity allows remote monitoring and scheduling via smartphone — no additional bridge or dongle required. Automatic heating and cooling modes are both available, so the unit can also lower water temperature during summer heat waves. The weatherproof ABS cabinet measures 865 × 730 × 766 mm and connects via a 50 mm hydraulic port with a nominal flow rate of 5.5 m³/h, suited to standard pool filtration pipework.
