Its 316-grade stainless steel construction provides robust resistance to chlorinated fresh water while handling the high-pressure boiler or solar circuits common in European plant rooms.
Primary & secondary circuit ratings
The primary circuit accepts up to 60 litres per minute at pressures to 30 bar, making it compatible with a wide range of boiler, solar thermal, and heat-pump primary loops. The secondary (pool water) side is rated to 8 bar with a generous 300 l/min flow capacity through its 2″ ported connection, allowing low pressure drop even at full circulation speeds — an important consideration for large pool volumes where return-water temperature must be kept tightly controlled.
Material & corrosion resistance
Fabricated entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel, the HF 75 offers excellent resistance to the chlorinated fresh water found in standard pool circuits. Note that for salt-water pools or installations using a salt chlorinator, a titanium-grade heat exchanger is generally recommended, as prolonged exposure to elevated chloride concentrations can cause pitting in stainless steel grades over time.
