The HI93746-03 are pre-measured powder reagents designed for the accurate colorimetric determination of low-range iron in water, covering a measurement range of 0.00 to 1.60 mg/L. How it works

HI93746-03 uses an adaptation of the TPTZ (2,4,6-Tri(2-pyridyl)-s-triazine) colorimetric method. When the reagent is added to a water sample, iron in the sample reacts to produce a characteristic violet tint; a compatible photometer then reads the colour intensity and calculates the iron concentration. Simply add the pre-dosed packet to your sample, allow the reaction to develop, and insert the cuvette into your meter for an instant, reliable reading.
