Hanna Instruments DPD3 Total Chlorine Liquid Reagent 600 Tests (2 × 20 ml Dropper Bottles) (HI93711-D3)
Hanna Instruments DPD3 Total Chlorine Liquid Reagent 600 Tests (2 × 20 ml Dropper Bottles)
The HI93711-D3 is a genuine Hanna Instruments liquid DPD3 reagent kit for the colorimetric determination of total chlorine in pool and drinking water. The kit contains two 20 ml dropper bottles and provides enough reagent for 600 tests, making it an economical choice for regular pool monitoring. Results are displayed in mg/L (ppm) by any compatible Hanna photometer.
How it works
The DPD chemistry causes a pink tint whose intensity is measured by a compatible benchtop or portable photometer, delivering a precise total chlorine concentration in the range of 0.00–5.00 mg/L.
Method & compliance
Testing follows an adaptation of USEPA Method 330.5 and Standard Method 4500-Cl G — the same internationally recognised DPD methodology used by water treatment professionals worldwide. Each bottle is clearly marked with lot number and expiration date for full traceability and quality assurance.
Compatibility & storage
For Hanna photometers and Checker mini-photometers that measure total chlorine with liquid reagents; Hanna lists it as the companion reagent of the HI93701-T total chlorine liquid reagent. A powder total chlorine reagent is also available. Store the bottles in a dry environment away from heat and direct sunlight to maintain reagent integrity between uses.
