The HI700-25 is the genuine replacement reagent set for the Hanna Instruments HI700 Ammonia Low Range Checker® HC — a pocket-sized handheld colorimeter designed to measure ammonia in freshwater within a range of 0.00 to 3.00 ppm (mg/L) as NH3-N. The reagents follow the Nessler Method, in which ammonia reacts with the reagent to produce a yellow tint that the HI700 meter reads and converts to a precise digital result.

Compatibility

These reagents are exclusively designed for use with the Hanna Instruments HI700 Ammonia Low Range Checker® HC colorimeter. They are intended for freshwater applications only — including aquariums, water quality monitoring, education, and environmental testing — and are not suitable for marine or saltwater use. The measurement results are displayed in ppm (mg/L) of ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N); to convert to ppm of total ammonia (NH3), multiply the reading by 1.214.
