The BL100-400 is a set of plumbing adapters used to connect the large flow cell of Hanna Instruments BL10x and HI98141x series controllers to the sample line. It allows the flow cell body to be fitted to standard pool circulation pipework so that the pH or ORP electrode sees a continuous, representative water sample. It is an accessory part for the flow-cell assembly rather than a measuring component itself.

What it fits

Designed for the large flow cell used with Hanna Instruments BL10x series dosing controllers and HI98141x panel-mounted controllers. It is not intended for the small or standard flow cell bodies, which use a different adapter size. Check the flow cell type on your existing installation before ordering.

Where it sits

The adapters thread into the inlet and outlet ports of the flow cell, forming the connection between the sample take-off line and the return line back to the pool circuit. The flow cell is typically mounted vertically on the control panel or wall next to the controller. Use PTFE tape or a suitable thread sealant on the connections and hand-tighten to avoid cracking the plastic body.

Service life

The adapters have no wearing parts and normally last as long as the flow cell itself. Replace them if the threads become damaged during electrode servicing, or if seepage persists after re-sealing the joints. Chemical attack from concentrated dosing chemicals backing up the sample line can also shorten their life.

Supplied as an adapter set for the large flow cell; the flow cell body, electrode and holder are ordered separately. This is a spare-part item intended for existing BL10x or HI98141x installations.
