Amita DN25 Non-Return Valve in Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyamide, 1 inch BSP Female Thread

This inline check valve prevents backflow in pressurised water systems with a compact, two-part body moulded from glass fibre reinforced polyamide (PA-GF). The material combines the chemical resistance of engineering plastics with significantly greater rigidity and impact strength than standard PA, making it well suited to pool circulation lines, irrigation headers, and greenhouse fertigation systems where light weight and corrosion immunity are priorities over metal fittings.

Both ports are 1 inch female BSP thread, allowing direct installation between standard male-threaded pipe adaptors or pump outlets without reducers. The spring-loaded NBR disc opens at a low cracking pressure of 0.025–0.035 bar, ensuring minimal restriction to forward flow at the rated capacity of 17.9 m³/h, while closing reliably against system pressure up to 6 bar. The stainless steel 316 internal spring resists corrosion across the full operating temperature range of 0 °C to 70 °C, covering cold-water supply through warm pool return applications.

Kompatybilność

Suitable for potable cold water, pool water, and irrigation systems using 1 inch BSP male-threaded pipe fittings or pump ports (DN25). Compatible with chlorinated pool water within the stated temperature and pressure limits. Not recommended for continuous service above 70 °C or for media chemically incompatible with NBR seals or polyamide (e.g. concentrated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons). Flow is one-directional; correct installation orientation (arrow or inlet port toward pump outlet) must be observed.
