At 200 mm internal diameter and rated to 10 bar working pressure, this is one of the largest metric PVC-U pressure elbows in the Profec range — built for high-volume pipework on commercial pools, plant rooms, and industrial installations where a sharp, space-efficient 90° directional change is required. Both sockets share an identical centre-to-face dimension of 209 mm, giving perfectly symmetrical routing with no offset to account for. The solvent-cement glue socket connection keeps the joint profile compact and permanently leak-free once cured.

Vessel construction & material integrity

Moulded from unplasticised PVC (PVC-U), the fitting combines high rigidity with excellent resistance to chlorinated water, pool chemicals, and a broad range of industrial fluids. PVC-U maintains its mechanical properties across the typical operating temperature range of 0–60 °C, making it well suited to both outdoor plant rooms and indoor commercial pool environments. The grey colouring is standard for metric pressure-rated PVC fittings in European industrial pipework.

Glue-socket connection & standards compliance

Both ends use a plain glue socket (socket × socket) designed for solvent-cement jointing to EN-ISO 1452-3, the European benchmark for PVC-U pressure piping systems. This ensures dimensional interoperability with any EN-ISO 1452-compliant 200 mm PVC-U pipe, and gives installers confidence in joint integrity at the full 10 bar rated pressure.
