Davey – StarFlo VS Drain Plug & O-Ring Assembly

This is the genuine Davey drain plug and o-ring assembly (part no. 33153SP), designed specifically for the Davey StarFlo VS variable-speed pool pump range. The drain plug seals the pump body’s drain port, while the included o-ring ensures a watertight, pressure-resistant fit. Together they prevent leaks at the drain point and are typically replaced when the o-ring shows signs of wear, cracking, or when the plug no longer holds a reliable seal.

Compatibilità

This assembly is designed for the Davey StarFlo VS series of variable-speed pool pumps — the energy-efficient, EU-market pump range featuring 50mm and 63mm barrel unions, suited to in-ground and above-ground pools up to 104,000 litres, as well as swim spas and plunge pools. Always verify your pump’s model number and part number before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

Perché l'originale conta

Using a genuine Davey replacement part ensures the drain plug and o-ring are manufactured to the exact tolerances of your StarFlo VS pump body. A poorly fitted or incorrect drain plug can cause persistent leaks, loss of prime, or pump damage — particularly in a variable-speed pump operating across a wide range of pressures. Genuine parts also help maintain your Davey warranty coverage.

Installazione

Replacement is a straightforward task: isolate the pump from power, drain the pump body, remove the old plug and o-ring, clean the seating surface, and install the new assembly. The o-ring and thread can be lightly lubricated with a silicone-compatible lubricant (such as Hydra Slip or equivalent) before fitting. Firm hand-tightness is sufficient — do not over-torque.
