Davey – Crystal Clear ER 135/180 Drainage Plug with O-Ring

This is a genuine Davey spare part (part no. 33372) consisting of the drainage plug and its sealing O-ring for the Crystal Clear ER cartridge filter series. The drainage plug allows the filter tank to be fully emptied during cartridge cleaning, servicing, or winterisation, while the O-ring ensures a watertight seal during normal operation.

Compatibilità

Designed for the Davey Crystal Clear ER cartridge filter models DCC135EU (135 sq ft) and DCC180EU (180 sq ft) — both used in inground and above-ground swimming pool installations across Europe. Always verify your model number before ordering to ensure a correct fit.

Perché l'originale conta

Using an authentic Davey replacement part guarantees dimensional accuracy and material compatibility with your filter’s polypropylene tank body. An ill-fitting third-party plug or degraded O-ring can cause persistent leaks around the drain port, leading to water loss and potential damage to surrounding equipment. Keeping the O-ring in good condition and replacing it at the first sign of cracking or deformation is essential for maintaining a leak-free system.

Installazione

Before removing the drainage plug, always switch off the pump, isolate the system, and release pressure via the manual air bleed valve. Remove the old plug and O-ring, inspect the drain port seat for debris, fit the new O-ring, and reinstall the plug firmly by hand. Do not overtighten. Apply a silicone-based lubricant (not petroleum-based products such as Vaseline) to the O-ring to extend its service life.
