Itap Europa 105 Spring-Loaded Brass Foot Valve with Stainless Steel Strainer – DN15 1/2″ Female Thread
The Itap Europa 105 is a spring-loaded foot valve designed for installation at the bottom of suction pipes in pump systems, wells, boreholes, and irrigation networks. The spring-loaded poppet mechanism keeps the valve closed against a cracking pressure of just 0.08 bar, preventing backflow and maintaining pump prime without manual intervention. The body is machined from brass and the internal spring and strainer basket are manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel, making the assembly suitable for continuous submersion in clean or mildly aggressive water.
Measuring 98.5 mm in body length with an overall installed length of approximately 100 mm and a port diameter of 34.5 mm, this compact valve fits easily into tight pump chambers and polytunnel irrigation headers. Both the inlet and outlet connections are female BSP thread at 1/2″ (DN15), allowing direct coupling to standard male-threaded pipe nipples, pump inlets, or manifold ports. The NBR elastomer seal provides reliable shut-off across the full rated temperature range of -20 °C to +100 °C and a maximum working pressure of 25 bar.

Compatibilité
The Europa 105 DN15 foot valve is compatible with 1/2″ BSP male-threaded suction pipes, pump inlet connections, and irrigation manifolds rated to 25 bar. The stainless steel 304 strainer basket makes it suitable for use with clean water, lightly sediment-laden groundwater, and irrigation supplies. It is not recommended for highly acidic or strongly alkaline media beyond the compatibility limits of brass and NBR. Verify pump suction line diameter and thread standard (BSP) before installation.
