Hanna Instruments metal nipple 12 x 1/4″ for BL120-410 flow cell (BL120-605)

The BL120-605 is a metal connection nipple with a 1/4″ threaded end and a 12 mm hose connection, used to plumb the BL120-410 flow cell into a pool water sample line. It belongs to the Hanna Instruments BL120 dosing and control accessory range, where the flow cell holds the pH and ORP electrodes in a continuous sample stream. It is a plumbing fitting only and contains no measuring components.

Avec quoi ça va ?

Designed for the Hanna Instruments BL120-410 flow cell used with BL120 series pool controllers. The 1/4″ thread matches the flow cell inlet and outlet ports, while the 12 mm end accepts standard sample tubing of the same size. Verify your existing tubing diameter before ordering, as flow cells are also supplied with other fitting sizes.

Position de montage

The nipple screws into the inlet or outlet port of the flow cell and connects it to the sample take-off and return line of the circulation system. Use PTFE tape or a suitable sealant on the threaded side and tighten by hand plus a light turn with a spanner to avoid stressing the housing. Always depressurise and isolate the sample line before fitting or removing.

Durée de vie

As a metal fitting it has no wear parts and normally lasts as long as the flow cell itself. Replace it if the thread is damaged, if corrosion or scaling appears on the wetted surfaces, or if a leak persists after re-sealing the thread. Sample lines carrying chlorinated or acidified water should be inspected during routine maintenance.

Remarques concernant la commande

Sold individually, not as a pair or as part of a fitting kit. A typical flow cell installation needs two connections, so order the quantity you require for both inlet and outlet. Electrodes, tubing and the BL120-410 flow cell itself are supplied separately.
