Davey – Kit de Tapón Ciego PoolFresh 50mm

The Davey PoolFresh Blanking Cap Kit (part 32937) is a genuine spare part designed for use with the Davey PoolFresh salt water chlorinator range. The kit provides a secure, watertight seal on the electrolytic cell’s barrel union port — essential whenever the cell is removed from the pool return line for inspection, acid cleaning, or replacement. It is listed as an official spare part in the Davey PoolFresh installation and service documentation.

Compatibilidad

This blanking cap kit is compatible with the Davey PoolFresh PFD8CE (8g) and PFD20CE (20g) salt water chlorinator models — the CE variants distributed across Europe. The kit is designed for use with the 50mm barrel union connections standard on these systems. If you are unsure whether this part fits your specific unit, please check your model number before ordering.

Qué hace y cuándo usarlo

The kit includes a 50mm tail, an O-ring, and a locking nut that together form a leak-proof cap for the open cell port. It is most commonly used during routine cell acid-cleaning: once the cell is disconnected from the plumbing, the blanking cap is fitted at the bottom of the cell to safely contain the acid solution and prevent spills during descaling. It is also useful any time the cell is temporarily out of the circuit and the open union needs to be sealed.

Por qué lo genuino importa

Using a genuine Davey replacement ensures the O-ring compound and fittings are rated for pool water chemistry, including salt and chlorine exposure. Non-genuine substitutes may not seal correctly against the PoolFresh barrel union thread, risking leaks or chemical spills during servicing. Sourcing the correct OEM part also keeps your system within Davey’s warranty terms.
