The Davey Motor Cover Rubber (part 13650-10) is a genuine OEM spare part designed for the Silensor and SilensorPro series pool pumps. It forms the flexible rubber sleeve that fits over the motor assembly, locking into the casing slot with the flanged end down and the power lead routed through the centre. Replace it whenever the existing cover shows cracking, stiffening, or physical damage that could compromise motor protection.

The motor cover rubber sits between the outer casing and the motor stator assembly, protecting internal components from dust, moisture ingress and mechanical contact. During any motor service or bearing replacement, the cover is removed and must be inspected for wear; a degraded cover should be replaced at this point to maintain the pump’s protection and preserve its characteristically quiet operation. The part is accessed by sliding the outer casing off the pump body to expose the rubber cover beneath.
