Rated at 15 g/h chlorine output, this replacement electrolysis cell is sized for pools of up to approximately 70 m³, restoring full sanitising capacity to an SSC15E salt chlorinator without replacing the entire control unit. The titanium electrode assembly delivers consistent hypochlorite production through electrolysis, keeping pool water clean and clear with minimal manual chemical handling.

Electrolysis output & pool coverage

The cell converts dissolved sodium chloride into sodium hypochlorite at a continuous rate of 15 grams of chlorine per hour, sufficient for a typical domestic pool of up to 70 m³. Because chlorine is generated on-demand from salt already present in the water, there is no need to store or handle liquid chlorine, reducing chemical safety risks at the plant room.

Titanium electrode & self-cleaning

The electrode plates are constructed from durable titanium, chosen for its resistance to the corrosive electrochemical environment inside the cell housing. Compatible SSC15E control units support reverse-polarity self-cleaning cycles, which periodically reverse the electrical current to dislodge calcium scale from the plates and extend service life between manual acid washes.

This cell is a like-for-like replacement for the SSC15E platform — it connects directly to the existing control unit and cell housing without modification to plumbing or wiring.
