This is the genuine Davey replacement O-ring for the air bleed valve fitted to Davey Crystal Clear pool filters. It forms the watertight seal around the air bleed screw, preventing water and air from leaking past the bleed port during normal filter operation. Replacing a worn or cracked O-ring is one of the quickest and most cost-effective ways to restore a properly sealed filtration system.

Compatibilitat

This O-ring is a spare part for the Davey Crystal Clear filter series, which includes both media (sand) and cartridge filter variants. It is designed to work with the air bleed assembly on these filters; if you are replacing the entire air bleed assembly (screws and O-ring together), refer to part Q2033SP. Always verify the part number against your filter’s spare parts diagram before ordering.

Instal·lació

Switch off the pump and depressurise the filter system before removing the air bleed screw. Carefully extract the old O-ring, clean the seat, and fit the new O-ring — applying a thin film of silicone lubricant (such as Hydroslip) to extend its service life. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants such as Vaseline, as these cause rubber to swell and deform. If in doubt, have a qualified pool technician carry out the replacement.
