This 5-litre trade-size canister of Weld-On Saba S3 PVC solvent cement is the professional’s choice for bonding PVC-U, PVC-C, and ABS pressure pipework in pool, spa, and water-treatment installations. Carrying full KIWA approval (including KIWA+ATA, BRL K-525), it is certified for use on potable water and chlorinated water systems, making it equally at home on pool plant-room pipework as it is on drinking-water mains. The large 5-litre format is sized for mid-to-large projects and commercial installations where a smaller canister would quickly run out.

Approvals & chemical compatibility

The Saba S3 formulation holds KIWA and KIWA+ATA type approval for solvent-welded joints up to 90 mm diameter (BRL K-525) and complies with KOMO standard BRL 5221, giving dealers and installers the documentation they need for certified pool and water-supply work. The adhesive is fully compatible with chlorinated pool water, making it the correct choice for filtration loops, pump unions, valve bodies, and any PVC pressure fittings on pool plant.

Saba S3 is a solvent-based PVC adhesive suitable for bonding all diameters of PVC-U, PVC-C, and ABS pipes and fittings in both pressure and drainage lines. Pre-treatment of the joint area with a PVC cleaner/primer is strongly recommended to ensure a sound, leak-free bond — a separate PVC cleaner should be ordered alongside this product. The cement is supplied without a brush; a suitable PVC applicator brush should be sourced separately to match the pipe diameter being worked on.
