At 225 mm outer diameter with an 8.6 mm wall thickness, this PVC-U pressure pipe is rated to 10 bar (ISO 1452 PN10) — making it one of the largest-bore solvent-weld pipe lengths available for commercial pool plant rooms, water treatment, and heavy-duty hydraulic installations. Each length is 5 m, supplied with a factory-formed glue socket on one end and a plain spigot on the other for straightforward in-line or offset runs. The rigid grey PVC-U construction is inherently corrosion-resistant and compatible with standard chlorinated pool water chemistry.

Pipe construction & pressure rating

Manufactured to ISO 1452 PN10, the pipe is engineered for a sustained working pressure of 10 bar at standard operating temperatures. The unplasticised PVC-U compound offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and the disinfectants used in pool and spa circuits, eliminating the corrosion and scaling concerns associated with metal pipework.

Solvent-weld connection system

The integral glue socket on one end accepts standard metric PVC-U fittings and solvent cement, producing a monolithic, leak-free joint when correctly primed and cemented. The plain spigot end can be inserted directly into a matching socket fitting, allowing multi-length runs to be assembled without additional couplers mid-run. For pressure applications, a medium- or heavy-body PVC cement is recommended.
