Profec – Pipe bracket steel galvanised 2-piece 47-51 mm M8/M10

Designed to clamp pipe outer diameters between 47 and 51 mm, this Profec 2-piece galvanised steel bracket accepts both M8 and M10 female-threaded fixings, giving installers flexibility when securing solar collector pipework, pool plant-room headers, or general pipework runs to walls and ceilings. Manufactured to DIN 4109, it incorporates an EPDM rubber seal that dampens vibration and protects the pipe surface from direct metal contact.

Construction & corrosion resistance

The bracket shell is pressed from steel and hot-dip galvanised throughout, providing robust protection against the damp, chemically active environments common around pool plant rooms and outdoor solar installations. The 2-piece hinged-collar design allows the bracket to be fitted around an already-installed pipe without needing to slide it along the run, saving considerable time on retrofit work.

Seal & sound attenuation

The integrated EPDM gasket lining meets the acoustic insulation requirements of DIN 4109, reducing structure-borne noise transmission into walls and ceilings — an important consideration where solar primary circuits or pool circulation pipes pass through living spaces or plant-room partitions. EPDM also withstands the elevated temperatures encountered in solar thermal primary circuits.

Fixing compatibility

Dual-thread female bosses accept M8 or M10 threaded rod, making this bracket compatible with standard channel strut and masonry anchor systems without requiring adapters. The 47–51 mm clamp range suits common solar collector manifold pipes, 1½” nominal copper, and equivalent CPVC or stainless steel tubing diameters used in pool and solar heating installations.
