The DVGW approval confirms compliance with German drinking-water and pressure-pipe standards, making it equally suitable for potable-water and pool-circulation duties across Europe.

Material & pressure performance

PE100 is a high-density, bimodal polyethylene with a Minimum Required Strength (MRS) of 10 MPa. The SDR11 dimension ratio delivers a PN16 (16 bar) pressure rating, giving a generous safety margin over the typical 1–3 bar seen in domestic pool circulation. Well-dispersed carbon black throughout the pipe wall provides outstanding UV resistance for exposed above-ground runs, while the material’s inherent stress-crack resistance ensures long-term hydraulic integrity underground.

Coil format & field jointing

The 100-metre coil eliminates the need for frequent couplings along straight buried runs — a significant advantage when trenching between pump house and pool shell. The plain (spigot) ends accept the full range of compression fittings, electrofusion sockets, and butt-fusion collars rated to SDR11 / 16 bar, including DVGW-approved polypropylene compression fittings commonly used in European pool and water-supply work. The black body with blue identification stripe is the recognised convention for potable-water and clean-water pressure service.

Pool & plant-room applications

At 20 mm outside diameter this coil is well matched to pool equipment connections for smaller pools and spas — suction and return lines, chemical dosing feeds, heat-pump condensate or water-side pipework, and underground supply from a water-authority connection point.
