Kripsol Koral / Mini Kapri pump shaft slinger Ø19mm (pack of 10)

This is the genuine Kripsol shaft slinger (RPUM0041.01R) for the Koral KS, Koral KSE, and Mini Kapri pool pump families. The slinger sits on the motor shaft, between the wet end and the motor housing, and rotates with the shaft to fling any leaking water radially outward — keeping it away from the motor bearing. This pack contains ten individual slingers, ideal for workshop stock or a full multi-pump installation.

What this slinger does in the Koral

When the mechanical shaft seal begins to weep, water migrates along the motor shaft toward the front bearing. The slinger’s disc geometry intercepts that migrating water and uses centrifugal force to deflect it outward, discharging it harmlessly through the pump’s drain zone rather than letting it saturate the bearing housing. Without a serviceable slinger in place, even minor seal weepage accelerates bearing corrosion and motor failure.

Which Koral models it fits

This Ø19mm slinger fits the Koral KS and Koral KSE pump range across all power ratings (33 through 300), and the Mini Kapri series, wherever Kripsol specifies part reference RPUM0041.01R or RPUM0041.00R. Cross-reference your pump’s exploded diagram at position 41 before ordering — other Kripsol pump families use different shaft diameters and are not compatible with this size.

Signs it needs replacing

If you find water staining or mineral deposits on the motor face, or the front motor bearing is running rough after a shaft-seal repair, inspect the slinger immediately. A cracked, deformed, or missing slinger is the single most common reason a freshly installed mechanical seal fails to protect the motor. Replace the slinger as a matter of course whenever you renew the shaft seal — the cost is negligible against the risk of motor replacement.

How to install it

Slide the slinger onto the motor shaft with the flange face oriented toward the wet end before you seat the new shaft seal and reassemble the pump bracket. No adhesive or special tooling is required — it locates by friction on the shaft. The entire procedure takes roughly fifteen minutes with a standard socket set and the pump drained down.
