Xclear Black UV-C Housing 40/75W – Stainless Steel RVS 304 (H170009)
The H170009 is the original replacement housing for the Xclear Black UV-C unit in 40W and 75W configurations, constructed from RVS 304 (304-grade) stainless steel. The stainless steel body provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining the recognisable Xclear Black aesthetic for pond installations.
RVS 304 Stainless Steel Construction
304 stainless steel is the standard food-grade and water-contact grade, resistant to chlorine and most pool and pond chemicals. It is a significant step up from standard plastic housings in terms of durability and appearance, and will not crack, yellow or become brittle under UV exposure.
Fits Both 40W and 75W Configurations
One housing covers both lamp wattages, reducing spares inventory requirements. The inlet/outlet unions, quartz glass retainer and all mounting points are identical to the original Xclear Black unit.
