Xclear Black UV-C Housing 40/75W – Aluminium Body (F990175BU)
The F990175BU is the aluminium-body replacement housing for the Xclear Black UV-C unit in 40W and 75W configurations. The aluminium construction offers a lightweight yet strong alternative to the stainless steel H170009, with excellent thermal conductivity that helps dissipate heat from the UV-C lamp chamber.
Aluminium for Lightweight Strength
Aluminium is significantly lighter than stainless steel while still being corrosion-resistant in freshwater pond environments. The excellent thermal conductivity also helps prevent hot spots around the lamp, potentially extending lamp life.
Fits Both 40W and 75W
One F990175BU covers both lamp wattage variants. All connections, quartz retainer threads and mounting points are identical to the original housing specification.
