Weld-On - SabaClean PVC & ABS Solvent Cleaner 5 ltr - 7043500

Weld-On – SabaClean PVC & ABS Solvent Cleaner 5 ltr

Supplied in a generous 5-litre container, this Weld-On SabaClean is a fast-acting, universal-purpose solvent cleaner formulated for PVC and ABS pipe systems — the trade-size can of choice for installers and pool builders working with plastic pipework day to day. It is the direct successor to the well-regarded SABA formula, now produced and backed by Weld-On, a specialist in plastic-pipe bonding chemistry with over 70 years of formulation expertise.

Surface preparation & cleaning action

SabaClean PVC & ABS is designed to degrease and clean pipe surfaces, fittings, and mouldings before solvent cementing, ensuring contaminants, oils, and adhesive residues are removed so the subsequent bond achieves full strength. It is equally suited to flushing and cleaning application equipment, making it a versatile workshop staple wherever PVC or ABS pipework is assembled.

Pool & irrigation pipework applications

Weld-On products are widely used across the pool and spa, irrigation, and industrial piping industries — making this cleaner a natural companion for pool plant-room installations where pressure-rated PVC pipe and fittings are glued with Weld-On or compatible Saba-series solvent cements. Proper surface cleaning before cementing is especially important in pool systems where joints must remain watertight under continuous hydraulic load.

Trade-size container & labelling

The 5-litre format suits professional installers and trade buyers who require a cost-effective, reduced-packaging solution for ongoing site or workshop use. Labels are printed in English, German, Dutch, and French, making this tin compliant and clearly understood across Western European markets.
