The Sugar Valley / Hayward pH Control Kit with Peristaltic Pump (KBPER) is a complete add-on kit that enables automatic pH regulation for pools using a Sugar Valley or Hayward salt chlorination system. It includes a peristaltic dosing pump with a flow rate of 1.5 l/h, along with all the components needed to measure and automatically correct the pH value of your pool water by dosing pH-Plus or pH-Minus precisely and continuously.

Maintaining correct pH (ideally between 7.2 and 7.6) is essential for both swimmer comfort and the effectiveness of the disinfection system. At incorrect pH levels, chlorine loses much of its sanitising power — meaning a well-functioning pH control system directly improves water quality and can reduce overall chemical consumption. The peristaltic pump design is virtually maintenance-free, runs dry without damage, and delivers highly accurate dosing even at low flow rates.

Peristaltic pump — accurate, reliable, low-maintenance

The KBPER uses a peristaltic dosing mechanism, where a rotating roller compresses a flexible hose to move liquid through the system. This design means the pump can run dry without damage, has no seals or valves to replace, and delivers consistent, drip-accurate dosing across its full operating range. With a flow rate of 1.5 l/h, it is well-suited for private pools up to 200 m³.

Integrated pH monitoring and automatic dosing

Once connected to a compatible Sugar Valley or Hayward chlorinator, the kit allows the system to continuously read pH levels and activate the dosing pump whenever a correction is needed. The target pH range and dosing parameters are set directly on the chlorinator’s touchscreen display or remotely via the Poolwatch app. Dosing history and current pH readings can be monitored in real time through the app when a Wi-Fi module is installed.
