Saci Pool Pump Optima exploded view & spare parts
This page provides the official exploded-view diagram and full bill of materials (BOM) for the Saci Optima range of self-priming swimming pool pumps, covering all five power variants: the Optima 25, Optima 33, Optima 50, Optima 75 and Optima 100. The Optima is a single-shaft, closed and ventilated motor pump with an integrated large-capacity pre-filter, rated to IP55 protection and compatible with salt-water installations. No single parent factory reference applies across the full range; identify your specific model from the pump’s specification plate before cross-referencing the diagram. Work through the numbered call-outs below and you will have your part number in minutes.
How to use the numbered diagram to find your part
Every numbered call-out printed on the exploded-view diagram corresponds directly to a row in the parts list table on this page — locate the area of the pump where the fault or wear has occurred, then trace the leader line to its position number. Once you have the position number, find the matching row in the BOM and note the SKU, which you can add straight to your basket. Bear in mind that some positions carry a letter suffix — for example, position 10 is split into 10a through 10e and position 31 into 31a and 31b — so the diagram may label a single call-out “10” or “31” while the parts list differentiates between model variants; always confirm which Optima variant you own before ordering. Similarly, positions 32a and 32b share the same call-out area on the diagram but are different components for different power groups. A small number of positions in this diagram — including positions 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and several motor-side components — are currently listed without an individual SKU; if you need one of those items, please contact us directly and our team will assist. Finally, check whether a single call-out represents a set (for instance a screw or seal that appears in multiple locations on the pump), so that you order the correct quantity for your repair.
Main replaceable assemblies on the Saci Optima
The Saci Optima divides naturally into three sub-assemblies that reflect the most common service tasks. The pre-filter assembly — positions 1 through 4 — comprises the handle (pos. 1), the transparent polycarbonate cover (pos. 2), the cover joint (pos. 3) and the basket itself (pos. 4); the basket is the first item to inspect when flow rate drops, as trapped debris restricts suction. The wet end sits behind the pre-filter and is centred on the pump body (pos. 5), which houses the impeller (pos. 10a–10e) and diffuser (pos. 9), separated by the diffuser joint (pos. 8); the mechanical seal (pos. 11) sits between the impeller and the motor shaft and is a common wear part after several seasons of use. A draining plug (pos. 6) and its dedicated O-ring (pos. 7) are located at the base of the pump body and should be replaced as a pair whenever the plug is removed for winter drainage. The motor assembly covers positions 17 through 35: the front and rear ball bearings (pos. 20 and 22) support the shaft with rotor (pos. 21) inside the motor casing (pos. 23), while the capacitor (pos. 27, SKU 7010426) is shared across all five single-phase Optima variants and is one of the most frequently replaced electrical components. Cooling is provided by the fan (pos. 31a or 31b) drawing air through the fan cover (pos. 32a or 32b), both of which are split by power group. The terminal box assembly — positions 24 to 26 and 28 — encloses all electrical connections and is sealed by the terminal box gasket (pos. 28) to maintain the IP55 rating.
Choosing between variants and pack sizes
The most critical variant decision on the Optima is the impeller at position 10. Five separate impellers are offered — 10a (Optima 25, SKU 7012156), 10b (Optima 33, SKU 7012157), 10c (Optima 50, SKU 7012158), 10d (Optima 75, SKU 7012159) and 10e (Optima 100, SKU 7012160) — and they are not interchangeable; fitting the wrong impeller will alter the pump’s hydraulic curve and can strain the motor. The fan (pos. 31) and fan cover (pos. 32) follow a different split: one part serves the lower-power trio (Optima 25, 33 and 50) and a second serves the higher-power pair (Optima 75 and 100), so check your model number on the specification plate before ordering either. The capacitor at position 27 (SKU 7010426) is common to all five single-phase variants, making it straightforward to order without knowing the exact power rating. Where O-rings and seals are concerned — particularly the draining plug O-ring at position 7 (SKU 7012155) and the mechanical seal at position 11 (SKU 7012161) — these are individual items rather than packs, so order one per pump. If you are unsure which variant you own, the model designation is stamped on the specification plate fixed to the motor casing and will read “Optima 25”, “Optima 33”, “Optima 50”, “Optima 75” or “Optima 100”.
