The QG043 is a high-purity quartz glass sleeve for UV-C pool, pond and water treatment systems. Quartz glass transmits UV-C radiation (254 nm) with minimal absorption, isolating the UV-C lamp from direct water contact while maintaining peak germicidal output.
When to Replace
Replace the sleeve when it is cracked, visibly cloudy or has mineral scale that cannot be removed by dilute acid cleaning. A fouled sleeve reduces UV-C output by up to 50%, significantly lowering water disinfection performance. Standard-length SPT sleeve for 75W pool and pond UV-C systems.
