This is the genuine Pentair Sta-Rite tightening wheel (knob) that operates the V-clamp assembly RC1937A on the UltraFlow Plus pool pump. It threads onto the clamp’s T-bolt and, when rotated, draws the clamp band tight around the pump body flange to lock the volute securely to the motor bracket. Without a functional tightening wheel, the clamp cannot be properly tensioned or released for servicing.

How to install it

Shut the pump down and isolate power before touching the clamp. Release any system pressure, then unscrew the failed wheel anti-clockwise from the T-bolt. Thread the new wheel on clockwise by hand until snug, then continue tensioning with a 7/8-inch socket wrench until fully seated. Tap around the clamp circumference with a rubber mallet after tensioning to ensure uniform seating before restarting the pump.
