The R354545SP is the genuine Pentair mechanical seal kit compatible with multiple pump series including the Challenger, Pinnacle, Superflo and UltraFlow (0.55–1.10 kW range). A worn mechanical seal allows water to travel along the pump shaft towards the motor, causing motor failure. Replacing the mechanical seal at the first sign of leakage protects the motor and avoids costly pump replacement.
