The foam construction grips smooth pool surfaces — tiles, fibreglass and concrete — delivering the traction and scrubbing contact that PVC brushes cannot replicate on those finishes. Note that a full brush replacement requires four pieces in total; order two packs to cover both the front and rear roller positions.

How to install them

Slide the old foam brushes off the drive roller shaft — no tools required for the brush itself, though you may need to remove the side panels first with a Phillips screwdriver to access the rollers fully. Seat each new foam half firmly until it clicks against the retaining ring (part 6101611, sold separately if worn). The full swap takes roughly 15 minutes per roller.
