Kripsol Koral KS diffuser O-ring / gasket Ø60/53 mm

This is the genuine Kripsol diffuser O-ring (gasket) for the Koral KS and Mini Kapri pool pump family, carrying manufacturer reference RPUM0011.02R. It seats in the groove between the diffuser and the pump casing, forming the primary hydraulic seal at that internal joint. Without an intact seal at this point, the pump loses suction-side pressure and flow rate drops measurably.

What this diffuser O-ring does in the Koral

The diffuser O-ring compresses between the diffuser body and the pump casing to prevent recirculation of water back past the impeller. It operates continuously under positive water pressure and pool-chemistry exposure, which degrades rubber over time. A correctly seated, undamaged O-ring of the right dimensions (Ø60 mm outer, Ø53 mm inner) is what keeps the diffuser stage airtight and the impeller working at rated flow.

This gasket fits the Kripsol Koral KS and KSE series pumps across the full size range (KS/KSE 33, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 300) and the Mini Kapri (KAP) pump family. Signs it needs replacing

The clearest indicator is a visible water leak from the mid-body joint between the diffuser and casing when the pump is running. You may also see a drop in filter pressure at the gauge and hear the pump cavitate or surge without any blockage in the basket. Inspect the O-ring when you open the pump for impeller service — any flat-spotting, cracking, or permanent deformation means it must be replaced before reassembly.

How to install it

Isolate the pump, drain the volute, and remove the diffuser retaining screws. Lift out the diffuser to expose the groove. Remove the old O-ring, clean the groove of any residue, and seat the new Ø60/53 mm gasket without twisting it. Reassemble the diffuser, torque the screws evenly, and re-prime before restarting. The job takes around 15 minutes with basic tools and does not require a technician.
