Standard Redox Control Probe Kit

The Standard Redox Control Probe Kit is a complete redox (ORP) measurement and control probe kit for Hayward-equipped pool systems. It enables continuous, real-time monitoring of the redox (ORP) level in the pool water and, when connected to a compatible Hayward controller, triggers automatic dosing to keep the redox (ORP) value within the optimal range.

Consistent redox (ORP) control is fundamental to effective pool water treatment — incorrect levels reduce the efficiency of chlorine and can cause eye irritation, scale formation and equipment damage.

What’s Included

  • Standard redox (ORP) probe with immersion fitting
  • Connection cable for Hayward NG control systems
  • Probe holder/flow cell for inline installation
  • Calibration buffer solutions
  • Full installation instructions

Installation & Calibration

The probe is installed in the pool circulation line in a dedicated flow cell, where it is continuously exposed to a representative sample of pool water. After installation, calibrate the probe using the supplied buffer solutions before first use. Recalibrate every 4–8 weeks and replace the probe element every 1–2 years under typical conditions.

  • Compatible with Hayward NG control units
  • Optimal redox (ORP) range: 650–750 mV
  • Keep probe tip wetted at all times to protect the sensor
