Fluidra – Pool Filter Pressure Gauge 0–3 kg/cm² 1/8″ BSP

This is the genuine Fluidra replacement pressure gauge for the Alicante Ø600 sand filter with a 1½” top-mounted multiway valve. Rated to 3 kg/cm², it threads directly into the standard 1/8″ BSP port on the filter head, giving a clear, at-a-glance reading of system pressure during filtration, backwash and all other valve cycles. Monitoring filter pressure is essential for knowing when backwashing is required and for detecting blockages or air locks before they cause damage.

Compatibility

This gauge is a factory spare part for the Fluidra Alicante Ø600 sand filter (1½” connections, 2.5 kg/cm² maximum working pressure, top valve). Always confirm your filter model and thread size before ordering. If your filter uses a different gauge port thread, this part will not fit.

Why genuine matters

A correctly calibrated gauge gives you a reliable baseline reading from the first start-up, so you can spot a 0.3–0.5 kg/cm² pressure rise that signals a dirty filter bed in need of backwashing. Aftermarket gauges may not be calibrated to the same tolerance, leading to missed or false alarms. Installation

Switch off the filtration pump and depressurise the filter before removing the old gauge. Wrap the 1/8″ BSP male thread with PTFE tape for a reliable seal, then hand-tighten and snug up with a spanner — do not over-torque. Note the baseline pressure on first start-up and check the gauge condition weekly as part of routine filter maintenance.
