This genuine Fluidra spare part is a 90° flange fitting supplied together with its union/coupling fitting, designed for use in the internal arm collector system of the PTK 1200 series sand filter. It forms part of the internal pipework that directs water flow through the filter vessel, ensuring correct distribution across the arm laterals during filtration and backwash cycles.

Compatibility

This fitting is a direct spare for the ARM FILTERS PTK 1200 M/M assembly, specifically the Ø1000 and Ø1200 mm tank diameter models (references 04963 and 04974). The PTK 1200 is a high-performance laminated polyester and fibreglass sand filter with a 1.2 m filter bed and arm collector system. Note that this part is not suitable for PTK 1200 models with the smaller Ø650–800 mm tank diameter, nor for plate/nozzle collector variants.

Why genuine matters

Fluidra’s inner pipe and fittings for these large commercial filters are manufactured in PVC, PP and ABS to precise dimensional tolerances. Using a genuine replacement ensures a leak-free seal at the flange face, correct flow geometry through the 90° angle, and long-term chemical resistance in chlorinated or ozone-treated pool water. An ill-fitting substitute risks bypassing the sand bed and compromising filtration quality.

Installation

The fitting integrates into the internal manifold of the PTK 1200 arm collector; access requires opening the filter vessel. Due to the size and pressure rating of these commercial filters, installation should be carried out by a qualified pool technician. Always depressurise and isolate the filter from the pump before commencing any internal work.
