Fluidra – FlexiPure Niche for Liner Pools
The FlexiPure Niche for Liner Pools is a Fluidra LumiPlus pool light niche made from ABS with liner flange. It is the structural housing installed into the pool wall to receive a LED lamp body, and forms the foundation of any LumiPlus lighting installation.
Construction & Waterproofing
Built to IP68 specification with a pre-installed watertight cable gland, this niche is rated for permanent submersion at depths up to 2 metres. The ABS with liner flange construction withstands chlorinated and salt-water pools without corroding, deforming, or discolouring over its service life.
Lamp Compatibility
Engineered to the standard 270 mm niche diameter, this body is compatible with the full LumiPlus FlexiNiche, FlexiMini, and PAR56 lamp families. The pre-drilled conduit entry accepts standard flexible conduit, simplifying the electrical rough-in to the external transformer.
Installation Notes
This niche is set into the pool wall before plastering or liner fitting. The cable conduit is routed to a 12V AC transformer positioned outside the EN 60598-2-18 safety zone. Liner pool variants include a rubber-gasketed flange that seals directly against the vinyl — a detail critical for preventing water ingress behind the shell.
