This is the genuine AstralPool 2-inch sand purge drain valve (position 11 in the official Fluidra exploded diagram) designed for the Alpine Filter 1050–1200 D.90. It serves a dual purpose: draining water from the filter tank and expelling spent filter sand without the need to dismantle the vessel, making routine maintenance fast and clean.

This sand purge valve is engineered specifically for the AstralPool Alpine Filter 1050–1200 D.90, identified by parent SKU FAHS1050L. It fits only this filter family — always cross-check your filter model and exploded-view position (pos. 11) before ordering to ensure an exact match.
