AstralPool – Replacement Motor 2 HP Single-Phase for Glass Plus SS Pump (15246)
This is the genuine AstralPool replacement motor for the Glass Plus SS 2 HP single-phase filtration pump (reference 15246). It occupies position 29 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram and is the correct OEM motor unit for restoring your pump to full factory specification. Choosing this part avoids the cost of replacing the entire pump assembly.
Compatibility
This motor is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Glass Plus SS 2 HP single-phase pump, parent SKU 15246. Always cross-reference the Fluidra exploded view diagram (position 29) and your pump’s model label before ordering to confirm fitment. It is not interchangeable with other power ratings or three-phase variants in the Glass Plus range.
Why Genuine Matters
Glass Plus pumps feature an IP-55 rated enclosed motor with built-in thermal protection on single-phase models — safeguards that are only guaranteed when using an authentic AstralPool part. A genuine motor ensures the electrical insulation, operating speed of 3,000 rpm, and corrosion-resistant construction all meet the original factory standards, protecting both your pump and pool installation.
Installation
Motor replacement on pool pumps involves both electrical and hydraulic disconnection and should be carried out by a qualified pool technician or electrician. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded view for the Glass Plus SS 2 HP pump (ref. 15246) to ensure correct assembly sequence and torque settings.
