AstralPool – Power Transformer 190 VA for Advance Electrolysis System

This is the genuine AstralPool 190 VA power transformer designed specifically as an internal replacement component for the Advance Electrolysis System (parent SKU 74540). It is the unit responsible for converting mains supply voltage to the precise low voltage required to power the salt chlorinator’s control board and electrolytic cell. As position 2 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram, it is a critical electrical component that keeps the system running safely and efficiently.

Compatibility

This transformer is specified for the AstralPool Advance Electrolysis System (SKU 74540) and is identified as position 2 in the official Fluidra parts diagram. If your Advance unit shows a loss of power, fails to start, or produces no chlorine output due to an electrical fault, this is the OEM replacement part to restore correct operation. Always verify your system’s model number before ordering.

Why Genuine Matters

Using a genuine AstralPool transformer ensures the correct VA rating, voltage tolerances, and insulation class are maintained — protecting both the electrolysis cell and the control electronics from damage caused by under- or over-voltage. Third-party substitutes with mismatched ratings can shorten cell life, trigger faults, or void your system warranty. This is a Fluidra-sourced OEM part built to the same specification as the original.

Installation

Replacement of an internal power transformer involves working inside mains-voltage electrical equipment and should be carried out by a qualified pool technician or electrician. Isolate the system from the mains supply before opening the unit. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 2) and the Advance Electrolysis System service manual to ensure correct wiring and secure mounting before returning the unit to service.
