AstralPool - Impeller 1/3 HP Single-Phase 50 Hz for Alaska Basic Pump - 4405010701

AstralPool – Impeller 1/3 HP Single-Phase 50 Hz for Alaska Basic Pump

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement impeller for the 1/3 HP (CV), single-phase, 50 Hz variant of the Alaska Basic self-priming pool pump (code 69383). The impeller is the rotating hydraulic component at the heart of the pump, responsible for drawing water through the pre-filter and driving it around the pool circuit. Replacing a worn or damaged impeller restores full flow performance and protects the pump motor from overload.

Compatibility

This impeller is designed exclusively for the AstralPool Alaska Basic pump, parent code 69383, in the 1/3 HP single-phase 50 Hz configuration. It occupies position 11 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram for this pump. Always verify your pump’s power rating and phase on the motor label before ordering, as impellers are power-specific and are not interchangeable across different HP ratings or motor types within the Alaska Basic range.

Why Genuine Matters

An OEM AstralPool impeller is precision-matched to the Alaska Basic pump’s diffuser and volute geometry, ensuring correct hydraulic clearances, optimal flow rates, and a secure shaft fit. Aftermarket alternatives may introduce vibration, premature seal wear, or reduced flow, shortening the pump’s service life. Using a genuine part also keeps any remaining manufacturer warranty intact.

Installation

Fitting this impeller requires draining and isolating the pump, removing the pump body from the motor, and carefully extracting the old impeller from the shaft. It is advisable to inspect the mechanical seal and diffuser for wear at the same time and replace them if needed. Installation by a qualified pool technician is recommended to ensure correct torque, alignment, and leak-free reassembly.
