AquaForte – Heat Pump Back Grill for Mr. Silence 9KW (SC947)

This is the genuine OEM replacement back grill for the AquaForte Mr. Silence 9KW heat pump (model SC947). Positioned at location 10 in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram, it forms the rear protective grille covering the air discharge outlet of the unit. It is an essential structural component that safeguards internal parts while allowing unrestricted airflow out of the rear of the pump.

Compatibility

This back grill is designed exclusively for the AquaForte Mr. Silence 9KW heat pump, model reference SC947. The Mr. Silence range features a patented rear-discharge airflow design in which air is drawn in from the sides of the unit and expelled from the rear — making the correct back grill critical to both safe operation and optimal airflow performance. Always verify your heat pump’s model reference before ordering.

Why Genuine Matters

Using a genuine AquaForte part ensures an exact fit for the SC947’s rear outlet aperture with no modifications required. Third-party alternatives may compromise the precise airflow clearances engineered into the Mr. Silence’s patented rear-discharge system, potentially affecting noise levels and efficiency. A genuine replacement also keeps your unit aligned with AquaForte’s warranty and service requirements.

Installation

Replacement of the back grill typically involves removing the existing grille fasteners and fitting the new panel in its place at position 10 of the unit. While the task is straightforward, it is recommended that a qualified pool technician or installer carries out any work on the heat pump to ensure safe reassembly and to preserve any applicable warranties.
