Weltico – Skimmer ABS 1½” × 2″ White A800 Design Liner & Concrete

With a maximum flow rate of 12 m³/h through its wide slotted mouth and a body height of 806.6 mm, the Weltico A800 Design is a large-format, high-water-level skimmer engineered for both liner and concrete pools. Its slim, low-profile opening positions the waterline as close as 5 cm below the pool coping, delivering the sought-after mirror-pool aesthetic without the cost of a full overflow system. Connections are via 1½” female (internal) and 2″ female (external) threads, keeping integration with standard European pipework straightforward.

High-Water-Level Design & Aesthetics

The A800 Design represents Weltico’s latest generation of high-water-level skimmers. By positioning the skimmer mouth closer to the coping than a conventional unit, the waterline sits near deck level, creating a seamless, reflective surface effect. The clean white ABS finish complements tiled, rendered, and liner pool surrounds alike, and the slimline faceplate integrates discreetly into the pool wall.

Construction & Chemical Resistance

The body is moulded from anti-UV ABS with stainless steel hardware, combining resistance to pool chemicals, UV degradation, and long-term wear. The robust ABS shell handles the structural demands of both liner and concrete installations, while the stainless steel components at fastening and trim points resist corrosion in chlorinated or salt-water environments. A dedicated side outlet allows connection of an automatic water-level controller — strongly recommended given the skimmer’s narrow slot profile, which can leave the pump running dry during periods of high evaporation.

Installation & Connection

Supplied with 1½” internal and 2″ external female threads, the A800 Design connects directly to standard pool pipework without reducers in most European installations. Overall dimensions (A: 584 mm × B: 443 mm, throat depth H: 73 mm) suit typical wall thicknesses in both poured-concrete and prefabricated panel builds. Fixing accessories are included, and the lateral level-controller port eliminates the need for a separate tee fitting in the return line. Professional installation is advised to ensure correct wall penetration sealing and alignment with the finished water level.
