Swimming pool sealant grey 290 ml MSP Plus Polymeer

This 290 ml cartridge of MSP Plus Polymer sealant is formulated specifically for the demands of pool construction and maintenance, delivering a permanently elastic, adhesive seal that bonds and fills in wet or damp conditions — no need to drain the pool before applying. Based on next-generation Modified Silane Polymer (MSP) chemistry, it cures by atmospheric moisture to form a durable, rubber-like body that remains flexible over time.

Wet-surface bonding & adhesion

One of the defining qualities of MSP Plus Polymer technology is its ability to be applied to wet or damp substrates, making it highly practical for poolside repairs and installation work. It adheres without a primer to a broad range of common pool materials — including concrete, PVC, polyester, fibreglass, masonry, and ceramic tile — and cures to a tough, elastic seal that resists the mechanical stresses of thermal expansion and water pressure.

Chemistry & application

The single-component formulation requires no mixing and is applied using a standard sealant gun. Skin formation typically occurs within 30–60 minutes at room temperature, with full cure progressing at approximately 2–4 mm per 24 hours under normal conditions. The sealant is solvent-free and low-odour, making it safer to use in enclosed or partially enclosed pool plant rooms and surrounds. The grey colour blends discreetly with concrete copings, grouted joints, and skimmer surrounds.

Pool installation & repair uses

This sealant is suited to filling and sealing structural joints, skimmer surrounds, return fittings, pipeline penetrations through pool walls, and coping or tile perimeter joints. It is intended for use above and at the waterline in standard chlorinated or salt-water pools.
