Rated to a robust 64 bar and covering a temperature range of −10 °C to +150 °C, this Profec 3/4″ two-piece ball valve is built for demanding pool plant rooms and mechanical service installations where standard brass fittings fall short. The all-316 stainless steel body and stainless steel lever deliver far superior resistance to chlorinated water, salt water, and chemical dosing lines compared with brass or PVC alternatives.

Corrosion resistance & materials

Constructed entirely from grade 316 stainless steel — body, ball, stem, and lever — this valve resists the chlorides and aggressive pool chemicals that can cause dezincification or stress corrosion in lesser alloys. The PTFE seats and seals add a further layer of chemical inertness, maintaining a leak-free shut-off across a broad range of media including pool water, salt solutions, and mild acids or alkalis commonly encountered in pool chemistry treatment systems.

Quarter-turn operation & connection

A simple 90° turn of the blue-coded stainless steel lever moves the valve between fully open and fully closed — there is no intermediate throttling position. Both ports are 3/4″ female BSP threads (ØDi 20 mm bore), making installation straightforward into standard pool pipework with no additional adapters required in most European installations. The compact face-to-face length of 64 mm (Lb) suits tight plant room layouts where space between adjacent components is limited.
